OD CONSULTANT, EXECUTIVE COACH AND DIRECTOR

Clare is an organisation development consultant, leadership development specialist and executive coach with more than twenty-five years’ experience working across the UK Civil Service, wider public sector and commercial organisations. Since establishing her consultancy in 2017, she has partnered with executive teams, senior leaders and organisations to strengthen leadership, shape culture and enable systemic change, creating the conditions for strategy to be translated into sustained organisational performance.

Her clients are often highly accomplished leaders, operating in intellectually demanding, politically complex and fast-moving environments. They seek Clare's ability to make sense of organisational complexity, identify the patterns that others cannot yet see and help leadership teams work more effectively with the human dynamics that determine whether change succeeds or fails.

Drawing on psychology, behavioural science, systems thinking and organisation development, Clare helps leaders understand the relationship between strategy, culture, structure, power and behaviour. She has a particular expertise in diagnosing organisational patterns across individual, team and system levels, enabling leaders to recognise the often-unseen dynamics that influence decision-making, collaboration, conflict and organisational performance.

Rather than applying predetermined solutions, Clare works with organisations as complex adaptive systems. She combines rigorous assessment with practical intervention, helping leaders build the capability to observe their own organisational processes, respond intelligently to emerging challenges and make better decisions under conditions of uncertainty. Her work enables leadership teams to develop greater systemic awareness, strengthen psychological safety, improve collective accountability and create cultures capable of sustaining meaningful change.

An experienced facilitator and executive coach, Clare creates environments where intellectually curious leaders can think together about difficult issues, engage productively with difference and navigate complexity with confidence. She is particularly skilled at working with live organisational challenges, supporting groups to surface assumptions, work constructively with conflict and balance individual, team and organisational needs in service of shared purpose.

Clare is recognised for combining analytical rigour with emotional intelligence, bringing both challenge and support to senior leadership conversations. She works comfortably at the intersection of strategy, leadership and culture, enabling organisations to build internal capability rather than dependency, leaving leaders better equipped to understand, influence and continually develop the systems in which they work.

Clare’s work includes projects with clients across a wide range of sectors. These include:
